Usage Rights Verification
Vietnam Office verifies usage rights by matching software, License/Entitlement, and usage-environment information against authoritative system data. Verification ensures that rights are being used under the correct Product, Version, Platform, Quantity, and licensing conditions.
- Product Verification — Verifies whether Product Entitlement grants rights to the Vietnam Office suite.
- Version Verification — Verifies whether the Version/Release being used is covered by Version Entitlement.
- Platform Verification — Verifies whether the current Platform matches Platform Entitlement.
- License/Entitlement Verification — Verifies that the right exists, its current status, and the applicable licensing conditions.
- Quantity Verification — Verifies that the number of Activations/rights in use does not exceed the granted Quantity.
- Device Verification on Desktop — Windows/macOS use Device Binding to verify whether the device in use corresponds to the bound License.
- Store Verification on Android — The system uses Google Play Store Entitlement together with Vietnam Office data to verify Android rights.
- Store Verification on iOS/iPadOS — The system uses Apple App Store Entitlement together with Vietnam Office data to verify iOS/iPadOS rights.
- Verification during Activation — Full verification is performed during initial Activation to establish valid usage rights.
- Verification during Reinstall/Restore — The system may re-verify rights before restoring an existing License/Entitlement.
- Verification during Update/Upgrade — The system may check Version Entitlement to determine whether a new Release or Version is within the entitlement scope.
- Periodic verification where required by policy — Vietnam Office may periodically verify rights to ensure that the License/Entitlement remains valid and its status has not changed.
- Valid result — When all required conditions match, the system confirms the entitlement and permits Vietnam Office to operate within the granted scope.
- Re-verification required — When information is insufficient, connectivity is interrupted, or status cannot be confirmed, the system may require verification to be performed again.
- Invalid result — The system may reject Activation/Restore or restrict rights if the Product, Version, Platform, License, Quantity, Device, or Store Entitlement does not satisfy the required conditions.
- Verification may not be bypassed — Users may not disable, modify, emulate, or circumvent License Verification, Device Binding, Store Entitlement, or usage-right controls.
- Authoritative verification source — The Vietnam Office backend is authoritative for Product Entitlement, Version Entitlement, Platform Entitlement, License status, Quantity, Device Binding, Update/Upgrade, and Revocation; for Mobile, Store data is verified through the applicable Platform mechanism.
Verification principle: correct Product + correct Version + correct Platform + valid License/Entitlement + valid Quantity + valid Device/Store = valid usage rights.
