Product Entitlement

• Vietnam Office is a unified product suite — Product Entitlement is granted for Vietnam Office as a complete suite containing Văn Bản — Vietnam Office, Bảng Tính — Vietnam Office, and Trình Chiếu — Vietnam Office.
• No separate Product Entitlement for individual applications — Under the standard commercial product structure, Văn Bản, Bảng Tính, and Trình Chiếu are component applications of Vietnam Office and are not treated as three independent Product Entitlements.
• One Product Entitlement — three component applications — When the Vietnam Office Product Entitlement is valid and the applicable Version, Platform, and License conditions are satisfied, the customer may use all three applications included in the suite on the entitled Platform.
• Product Entitlement determines “which product may be used” — Product Entitlement determines whether the customer has the right to use Vietnam Office. Version Entitlement determines which version may be used, while Platform Entitlement determines the permitted platform.
• Product Entitlement does not operate independently — Having a Vietnam Office Product Entitlement alone does not determine the complete usage right. The system also verifies the Version, Platform, License/Entitlement status, quantity, and applicable licensing conditions.
• Product + Version + Platform relationship — Complete usage rights are determined according to the following principle: Product Entitlement = Vietnam Office → Version Entitlement = permitted Version → Platform Entitlement = permitted Platform → valid License/Entitlement = eligible for Activation/Restore.
• Product Entitlement does not replace Version Entitlement — Rights to the Vietnam Office suite do not automatically permit use of every Version previously or subsequently released. The permitted Version must fall within the applicable Version Entitlement.
• Product Entitlement does not replace Platform Entitlement — Rights to use Vietnam Office do not automatically apply to every Platform. Customers may use the suite only on the Platform granted under the applicable SKU or transaction.
• Product Entitlement on Windows — When a customer purchases Vietnam Office Desktop – Windows, Product Entitlement confirms rights to the Vietnam Office suite, while Platform Entitlement limits those rights to Windows and Version Entitlement identifies the permitted Version.
• Product Entitlement on macOS — When a customer purchases Vietnam Office Desktop – macOS, Product Entitlement confirms rights to the Vietnam Office suite within the granted macOS Platform scope.
• Product Entitlement on Android — When a customer has valid rights to Vietnam Office Mobile – Android, the Vietnam Office Product Entitlement is used together with Google Play Store Entitlement and Platform Entitlement to verify the applicable Mobile rights.
• Product Entitlement on iOS/iPadOS — When a customer has valid rights to Vietnam Office Mobile – iOS/iPadOS, Product Entitlement is used together with Apple App Store Entitlement and Platform Entitlement to verify usage rights.
• Purchasing one Platform does not create entitlement for another Platform — For example, the Product Entitlement associated with a Vietnam Office Desktop – Windows transaction does not automatically create rights to Vietnam Office Desktop – macOS, Vietnam Office Mobile – Android, or Vietnam Office Mobile – iOS/iPadOS.
• Product Entitlement is created from a valid commercial right — Product Entitlement may be granted on the basis of an Online transaction, order, enterprise contract, Dealer order, or project recorded and approved by Vietnam Office under the applicable process.
• Payment and entitlement allocation — For transactions requiring prepayment, Product Entitlement is granted or made available for use only after the system confirms that the applicable payment and order conditions have been satisfied.
• Downloading software does not create Product Entitlement — Download or Installation only places the software on the device. These actions do not create Product Entitlement or establish valid commercial usage rights.
• Product Entitlement and Activation — During Activation, Vietnam Office checks Product Entitlement to confirm that the License applies to the correct product suite. The system then verifies the Version, Platform, and other licensing conditions.
• Product Entitlement and Restore — During Restore, the system verifies the existing Product Entitlement together with the Version Entitlement, Platform Entitlement, and applicable License or Store Entitlement status. Restore does not create a new Product Entitlement where no previous right exists.
• Product Entitlement and Reinstall — Reinstall does not remove or create a new Product Entitlement. After reinstallation, the system verifies the existing rights before allowing continued use within the granted scope.
• Product Entitlement and Updates — Product Entitlement confirms rights to Vietnam Office, but eligibility to install a new Release or Version also depends on the applicable Version Entitlement and Update/Upgrade policy.
• Product Entitlement is not ownership of the software — Product Entitlement grants the right to use Vietnam Office under applicable conditions; it does not transfer ownership of source code, technology, trademarks, or other Vietnam Office intellectual property.
• Product Entitlement may not be separated — Customers may not independently separate the rights to Văn Bản, Bảng Tính, or Trình Chiếu from the Vietnam Office suite for sale, transfer, relicensing, or distribution as independent Licenses.
• Product Entitlement may not be duplicated — Activation, Restore, Reinstall, or copying the installer does not create additional Product Entitlements. The number of rights remains limited by the applicable transaction, order, contract, or project.
• Product Entitlement may not be converted to another Product — Product Entitlement is valid only for the granted Product and may not be independently converted into rights to another product unless Vietnam Office officially provides an applicable conversion mechanism or policy.
• Enterprise Product Entitlement — For enterprise customers, Product Entitlement may be granted according to the number of Licenses/Entitlements specified in the order or contract and managed centrally under the organization's rights.
• Project Product Entitlement — For projects, Product Entitlement is managed according to the approved Project, Product, Version, Platform, Quantity, and deployment status. Usage may not exceed the granted quantity or project scope.
• Product Entitlement status — Product Entitlement may be used only when it is in an eligible system status. Activation or Restore may be unavailable if the Entitlement is not yet eligible, has been suspended or revoked, or no longer satisfies the licensing conditions.
• The backend is the authoritative verification source — The Vietnam Office backend is the authoritative source for determining the Product Entitlement granted to a transaction, customer, organization, or project and the current status of that entitlement.
• Example — Windows — A customer purchases Vietnam Office Desktop – Windows. Product Entitlement confirms the right to use the Vietnam Office suite containing Văn Bản, Bảng Tính, and Trình Chiếu; Platform Entitlement identifies Windows; Version Entitlement identifies the Version; and Device-Bound Licensing identifies the activated device.
• Example — Android — A customer has rights to Vietnam Office Mobile – Android. Product Entitlement identifies the Vietnam Office suite that may be used; Platform Entitlement identifies Android; and Google Play Store Entitlement together with the Vietnam Office system verifies the applicable Mobile rights.

Product Entitlement principle: one right to the Vietnam Office suite → includes Văn Bản + Bảng Tính + Trình Chiếu → originates from a valid transaction/commercial right → is limited by Version + Platform + Quantity + License conditions → is verified during Activation, Reinstall, Restore, and Updates → may not be independently separated, duplicated, or converted beyond the granted scope.
