License Suspension or Revocation
Vietnam Office may Suspend, Revoke, or invalidate a License/Entitlement when the entitlement no longer satisfies licensing conditions, a violation is identified, or a status change is required under the applicable contract, transaction, or law.
- Suspend — A status that temporarily pauses usage rights or certain related operations while the underlying issue is being verified or resolved.
- Revoke — Withdrawal of usage rights when the License/Entitlement is no longer permitted to remain in use under the applicable policy or legal basis.
- Invalid/Disabled — A License or Entitlement may be marked invalid or disabled when entitlement data is invalid, the transaction is cancelled, or the right no longer exists.
- Cases that may result in Suspension/Revocation — These may include transaction cancellation or refund; payment fraud; incorrectly issued Licenses; use beyond Quantity; unauthorized sharing or duplication; Activation bypass; interference with Device Binding/Store Entitlement; use outside the entitled Product, Version, or Platform; or violation of the EULA/applicable policies.
- Transaction-based revocation — If the transaction that created the License/Entitlement is cancelled, refunded, charged back, or determined to be invalid, the associated rights may be adjusted or revoked under the applicable policy.
- Revocation for quantity violations — Vietnam Office may prevent Activation or adjust entitlement status when the number of devices/rights in use exceeds the granted Quantity.
- Revocation for technical violations — Modifying License data, emulating Device Identity, interfering with Store verification, or using tools to bypass protection mechanisms may result in Suspension or Revocation.
- Effect of Suspension — Depending on the applicable policy, the software may require re-verification, restrict Activation/Restore/Updates, or limit usage until the status is resolved.
- Effect of Revocation — A revoked License/Entitlement is no longer eligible for Activation or Restore. Related Offline rights may be updated when the device reconnects and synchronizes status.
- Suspension does not automatically mean Revocation — A suspended entitlement may be reinstated if the underlying issue is resolved and the system confirms that the entitlement is valid again.
- Resolution process — Vietnam Office may require the customer to provide an Order ID, License reference, transaction information, or other necessary data before entitlement status can be restored or adjusted.
- Backend is the authoritative status source — ACTIVE, SUSPENDED, REVOKED, INVALID, or equivalent entitlement statuses are determined by the Vietnam Office backend.
Principle: rights remain effective only while the License/Entitlement is valid and usage complies with Product + Version + Platform + Quantity + EULA + applicable policies.
